Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries Outlast Lead-Acid Batteries with Longer Life and Higher Efficiency

On average, our 24V 100Ah batteries last 3,500 to 5,000 cycles. That's about 10 years of battery life. Cycles are the number of times a battery is fully charged and discharged. Most lead-acid batteries have a usable capacity of 50-60%, which means you have to recharge them more often. What's the capacity of a Li-ion LiFePO4 battery? 99%. Talk about efficiency! Plus, Li-ion batteries perform well over a wider temperature range. They can discharge between –20°C and 60°C (–4°F to 140°F) and charge between 0°C and 45°C (32°F to 113°F).
