On average, our 24V 50Ah batteries last 3,500 to 5,000 cycles. That's about 10 years of battery life. Cycles are the number of times a battery is fully charged and discharged. Most lead-acid batteries have a usable capacity of 50-60%, which means you have to recharge them more often. What's the capacity of a Li-ion LiFePO4 battery? 99%. Talk about efficiency! Plus, Li-ion batteries perform well over a wider temperature range. They can discharge between –20°C and 60°C (–4°F to 140°F) and charge between 0°C and 45°C (32°F to 113°F).
